Light is blocked where the flash is mounted as it needs to be diverted there, so you get a slight C-shape. Not a big problem if not shooting specular objects. It might be a bit strange with eyes though. The hole is also a bit awkward, I could fit all my lenses through but you obviously can't grab the rings easily. Still, for the price it's excellent.
